Professor Paul Idornigie, SAN, PhD, C.ARB, FNIALS
Professor Idornigie is the chairman of the Board of Trustees of LRI. He is a Professor of law, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, a Chartered Arbitrator, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (London), a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and Nigeria’s representative at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in Hague, Netherlands. He is a member of the Faculty of Law at the Veritas University, Abuja. Professor Idornigie has an extensive portfolio of publications focusing on commercial arbitration, mediation, corporate law, international investment law, and public-private partnerships. His scholarly works are accessible through platforms such as Orcid and Google Scholar.

Dr. Anigboh is a distinguished Nigerian political scientist, author, and journalist renowned for her contributions to the discourse on fiscal federalism and resource allocation in Nigeria. She co-authored the seminal work Oil and Fiscal Federalism in Nigeria: The Political Economy of Resource Allocation in a Developing Country with Augustine Ikein, a book that critically examines the complexities of resource distribution within Nigeria’s federal structure. Her multifaceted career, encompassing academia, journalism, and philanthropy, has significantly contributed to the understanding of Nigeria’s political economy and the promotion of social well-being within her community.

Dr. Comfort Anigboh


Professor Isaac Olu Agbede
Professor Agbede is a professor of Private International Law and formerly the Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. He was appointed professor at the University of Lagos in 1979, where he also held positions as head of the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law and dean of the Faculty of Law. Beyond his roles at the University of Lagos, he was a visiting professor at universities, including Sokoto, Ago-Iwoye, and Ibadan. In recognition of his enduring contributions to legal education, he holds the title of Emeritus Professor at Babcock University, Nigeria

Mrs. Ovrawah is a distinguished Nigerian lawyer and human rights advocate, recognized for her extensive contributions to the promotion and protection of human rights in Nigeria. She has held several significant positions that underscore her commitment to social justice and gender advocacy. Mrs. Ovrawah has served as the Acting Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of Nigeria. In this capacity, she has been instrumental in addressing critical human rights issues, including racial discrimination, the plight of missing persons, and the rights of their families. She has also been a vocal advocate for women’s involvement in anti-corruption efforts, emphasizing the role of women in ensuring the enjoyment of human rights and fundamental freedoms.

Mrs. Oti Anukpe Ovrawah

Amb. Igali is a distinguished Nigerian public servant, diplomat, author, and scholar, renowned for his extensive contributions to public service and diplomacy. From 1999 to 2005, Igali served as the Nigerian Consul General to Cameroon, where he was instrumental in the Bakassi Peninsula peace efforts following the border dispute between Nigeria and Cameroon. His tenure also saw the successful negotiation and repatriation of over 60,000 Nigerian Fulani refugees displaced into Cameroon due to inter-ethnic conflicts in the Mambilla Plateau. Beyond his public service, Igali is a prolific author and scholar. His publications include “Perspectives on Nation-State Formation in Contemporary Africa,” addressing challenges of state formation and national integration; “Global Trends in State Formation,” exploring the emergence and disintegration of modern states; and “Signposts to Success,” a motivational guide analyzing historical accounts of successful individuals.
